VersaTrigger Trigger your creative photography

Remote laser break sensor

Although the VersaTrigger has an in-built laser sensor it can take some practice aligning the laser beam with the sensor as a slight movement at the beam end can produce a large movement at the sensor end.  The easy approach is to secure the laser pen in position and then to use a piece of paper or card to find the beam, once the beam is located just position the remote laser beam break sensor in place.  For safety, when siting the laser beam try not to direct it towards the camera, it is not a high power laser (1mW) but can cause damage to your eyes and will definitely damage the camera sensor.

The remote laser beam break sensor may be secured in position using velcro, screws or a clamp, it plugs into the Aux input of the VersaTrigger and requires no batteries as it is powered from the VersaTrigger control unit.
